Sunday, Sunday

Not going to miss a day (again), but I am unplugging for the night. I'm exhausted and I have a book to read.

A Day In The Life.

There's a project on YouTube today called "A Life in a Day." I haven't submitted anything for it, but there are four questions that you can submit a video answering as a supplement to the footage of your day. I'm going to answer those questions here because I really like them.

I read the news today, oh boy... )

Obligatory Friday Post

I just got back from the mall with my nieces Jenni and Hannah.

Fun was had by all.

I am completely exhausted.

Gonna watch some television and go to bed.

Goodnight all.

I am a terrible, terrible person.

So...yeahh... It may or may not be after 2 on Friday morning. *whistles* Yeah, what are you looking at?

I forgot. Go me.

I blame the fact that Thursday I got a call from work at 8:30 in the morning saying they needed me to come in. On the plus side, I don't have to work tomorrow (today).

I haven't read any more on Will Grayson, Will Grayson, which kind of makes me sad.

However! I spent a significant portion of my night watching "A Very Potter Sequel." AVPS is a fan-made parody musical about Harry Potter. It's amazing. It's just the right amount of parody and admiration for HP to make it funny, but not insulting to people who love Harry Potter. (*cough*me*cough*) My only beef with the sequel is that there's not nearly enough music. The last play, which, by the way, are both available to watch in their entirety on YouTube, seemed like it had way more songs, but it is also significantly shorter. They also have another original play up called "Me and My Dick" which is funny, but is definitely college humor.

I'll post two blogs today and on Saturday to make up for my loss.

Whoops!

So it's 11:43 and I totally forgot to update today.

I've spent most of today on www.thisisnottom.com . It's fricken brilliant. I'm not going to go into it, but it's completely worth the work to get around.

I got a new book today. Will Grayson, Will Grayson. I've only read the first chapter, but I think I like it.

Goodnight!

ARGHHH (And various other annoyed sounds)

YouTube can suck it.

This is the THIRD time I've had to go through and resubscribe to stuff. Thankfully I don't subscribe to a bunch of channels, but it's still annoying (and kind of a bitch) to have to go back through them.

On a lighter note, a week from this Saturday I am going to Six Flags. =D I haven't been to Six Flags St. Louis in YEARS and I think I'll have a lot more fun now that I'm older. My vague memories of going as a child are....being hot, being uncomfortable, wanting to go home. So that's generally how I feel when I'm at any amusement park now, but at least I'm tall enough to ride the rides this time around.

I'm going to bail out of this now to watch the last episode of "Blackpool" on YouTube (suck it). It's a murder/crime show that involves the characters randomly breaking into song and dance. Yeah, it's pretty awesome. But it's not like a musical. They're all real songs (the best so far has been "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen) and the actors just sing along with the real versions.

Google it. It's worth a look.

Copy and Copy and Copy and...

I don't really feel like writing tonight, so here's something I did forever ago. It's called a six-word memoir. It's a six-word "story" about myself. There's a few of them because I'm an overachiever.

I'm never comfortable in a crowd.

I'm weird in a good way.

I miss having fun with you.

I loved being a little kid.

I will never have friends similar.

Reading takes up too much time. I am okay with that though.

The last two go together so I guess that's a 12-word story. Also the next to last one doesn't really make sense as a sentence, but I ran out of words. I like it though.

I am exhausted. Goodnight.

A Blog For Every Day.

I figure if Janie is going to try to post to LJ for 30 straight days, I can give it a try myself.

I've never been very consistent on this thing. I don't really know why. I guess it's because I don't find my life very interesting and can't imagine why anyone else would either.

I haven't done anything noteworthy this week. I've had two days off in a row, which is always nice, but I go back tomorrow afternoon. I went to the dentist this morning, fun fun. It doesn't matter how clean I think my teeth are when I leave my house, by the time I get to the dentist's office I'm convinced they are the grossest teeth ever.

But anyway, my teeth are now clean and I didn't have any cavities.

I guess that's enough for now. We'll have to see how this experiment goes.

I've Been Down Here Before.

Hello All.

I'm really bad at this posting thing. I think about doing it nearly every day, but I just never seem to get around to doing it.

I have sold my soul. I joined Twitter. So far it doesn't seem to be a bad trade, I'm already more consistant with it than I am with this thing. Bah! You gotta love conformity. =)

My partner from the shorts, Emy, and I get to perform our scene again in the end-of-the-year thing here at school. (I am seriously refraining from calling it Curtain Call.) It's in twoish weeks, I think? I can't seem to get away from the crazy-girl thing. Heh. It's also a little disconcerting that people keep telling me what a good job I did... Maybe the world is trying to tell me something.

Well, the thought of posting something meaningless is only slightly helping the guilt of not posting at all, so I'm going to just end this now.

I get my hair cut today. I want something new. I hope I don't chicken out when I get there.
Later.
